Private 2-Hour Guggenheim and Bilbao Walk, Customizable Between Museum and City

Half museum, half city, and the split is adjustable: the guide shifts time toward the Guggenheim or toward the streets, depending on what the party prefers. In two hours the walk can cover modern Bilbao, with the Isozaki Atea towers, the City Hall and the Alhondiga cultural space, or the Old Town, along the Ria to the Arriaga Theater, Plaza Nueva, the exterior of the Cathedral and the Ribera Market.

The tour is private, so the route follows the group's interests. It starts and ends at the Guggenheim, or at the Casco Viejo if the party prefers.

The two routes pair differently with the museum. A party that has not been inside can give most of the two hours to Gehry's 1997 building and its collections. One that already knows it can spend the time on the river and the Old Town. The modern route passes the Alhóndiga, a wine warehouse built between 1905 and 1909 and reworked by Philippe Starck into a cultural center. The Old Town route reaches the Ribera Market, inaugurated on August 22, 1929 and covering 10,000 square meters.
