Private 4-Hour Bilbao City Tour by Car with Guide, Hotel or Cruise Port Pickup
This is the tour for people who would rather not cover the hills and bridges of an unfamiliar city on foot. A guide and a chauffeur share the work, and the private luxury vehicle takes the group between stops spread across the city. Pickup is at a hotel or the cruise port, and the tour ends with a return to the hotel or another chosen place in Bilbao.
The list of places is long for four hours. The Guggenheim, opened in 1997, has the curving titanium structure that became a symbol of Bilbao's revitalization, and Santiago Cathedral is a 14th-century Gothic church with a neo-Gothic facade and a cloister. The Fine Arts Museum has a collection from the 12th century to contemporary works, with El Greco, Goya and Francis Bacon among the artists. San Mames Stadium, known as La Catedral, opened in 2013 and holds more than 53,000 people. In the Old Town the list includes Plaza Nueva, whose arcades hold cafes, bars and restaurants and which also hosts a Sunday market, and a spot on Goienkale known for traditional Basque cuisine with a modern twist.
The four hours follow the guests' interests, so the list can be shortened. It suits cruise passengers and anyone with a short stay who wants a first overview of Bilbao without much walking.
