San Sebastián is a walk through the city with its sights, traditions, food and wine. A French Basque day takes in Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz and its market, with Hondarribia, a medieval town inside its walls, on the Spanish side.
Bilbao has the Guggenheim, with museum tickets in the price, and a private city tour. Frank Gehry's building is clad in titanium, limestone and glass, and Jeff Koons's Puppy stands outside. Rioja then gets a full day: two wineries with tasting, a walk through a walled medieval town and its wine caves, and lunch in a local restaurant, with photo stops at the Marqués de Riscal and Ysios buildings.
